About Us

Supply Post was founded in 1983 as a dealer of office products and furniture for the Greater Cincinnati area.  The company had its headquarters in a small office park located in Sycamore Township.   Throughout the 1980's Supply Post grew steadily, adding both clients and employees.  This growth would ultimately result in the need for a new facility.

In 1991, in order to accommodate its growing customer base Supply Post  re-located.  Supply Post partnered in the development and construction of its current facility located in Blue Ash, Ohio.  The new facility would allow Supply Post to have the larger warehouse it needed in addition to a larger showroom for its growing office furniture business.

The early 1990's were also a time of acquisition for Supply Post.  In 1992 Supply Post acquired Redeker & Dick, Inc.  Redeker & Dick was a large dealer of office products and business supplies that was located in downtown Cincinnati.  This key acquisition would help expand Paperworks' reach to the Northern Kentucky market and make it the largest privately owned office products and furniture dealership in the Greater Cincinnati area.  Paperworks thrived throughout the 1990's adding products and services to its stable of offerings.  As a result sales continued to grow.

In the year 2000, Supply Post launched the first version of its online presence, www.supply-post.com   For the first time ever, clients could order their office products online.  This new avenue of order entry would allow for Supply Post to grow its business beyond the Greater Cincinnati area, adding many clients as a result.

2008 saw the loss of one of the founders of Supply Post, Paul C. Reichert.  Paul had been the key figure in the growth and overall strategic direction of the company during its formative years and its first wave of acquisitions.  His passing would present a new generation of leadership for the company.  Jonathan E. Friedmann took over as President, succeeding Paul in 2008.

In 2009, Supply Post purchased Greater Cincinnati Office Products, Inc.  This acquisition gave Supply Post more leverage in its buying power and size, enabling them to offer better value and service to its clients.  Supply Post also began the process of revamping their website, www.supply-post.com  to better accommodate the changing needs of its clients.  More than half of Supply Post orders are processed online.  The new site was launched in September of 2010 to rave reviews.

Supply Post is always seeking out ways to improve its processes to deliver the highest level of satisfaction to its client base.  The company employs a team of talented sales people and inside account representatives along with a fleet of seven delivery vehicles and a full team of furniture installation professionals.  Supply Post is poised and ready for future growth and continues to operate as the largest privately owned and operated office products and furniture company in the Greater Cincinnati area.
